means that this render simulates different viewpoint similar than human left and right eyes, maybe with different value. I think better if I say it's a kind of Side-by-side Stereoscopy.
You may need special glasses or a VR Box/Glasses or VR device to watch it well, but not neccessary (freeview).
I like 3d graphics and while I'm trying Blender I've created this winter scene. Later I've rendered as a Side-by-side Stereoscopy and I drew a round "old style" border in GIMP.
